Alpha Omicron State

Verna’s Viewpoint…

I’m excited.
Alpha Omicron State President, Sandy Starr is coming to visit Beta Chapter. Each member will have an opportunity to meet and get to know Sandy as fleece blankets are snipped and tied. Working on a project together affords time to exchange ideas, share experiences, and visit.

I’m excited.
Each Beta member will have an opportunity to take Your Personal Leadership Plan at http://skirtstrategies.com/ If you can’t attend the meeting or you want to do this ahead of time, please go to the website and take this assessment. It’s free. Find it at the lower right hand side of the page. While at the page, check out an article. At the meeting I will share October’s “5 BE”s of women’s power.

I’m excited.
It’s time to look at the new educators (0-5 years of experience) in your schools as possible recipients of Beta Chapter’s Early Educator Award. I will send you the official invitation (nicely done by Debbie Boyer) in January so they can be invited to the February meeting. Remember they must come to the meeting to be eligible for the award.

It’s time to fill out the Recommendation for Membership  form (attached) and send it to Jolyn Krabbenhoft.

I’m excited to see all of you on November 2.
